Financing an Investment in Germany

 

It has been surprising how, right the way through the credit crisis, German banks have remained
confident in their lending to the residential sector of the German market. Whilst finance possibilities,
particularly for foreign nationals, have dried up in many established markets or punative rates are
applied, the German banks have been consistent in their lending. One impact of the bank’s reduced

Berlin Joins the Cool Crowd 

Move over Dublin, stand back Kraków. When it comes to having a reputation as a party city, the new kid on the block – or should that be bloc? – is Berlin. The city was a divided monument to the Cold War, but is now celebrating 20 years of reunification, using its grim past to show off its free and affluent future. Ifo Business Survey – November 2010

The Ifo Business Climate indicator for industry and trade in Germany has risen again in November and is now above the level of the 2006/2007 boom. Both the current business situation as well as the business outlook for the coming half year have been assessed more positively by the firms.
